[Phys-L] Help shape PhET’s Quantum efforts!
Dear Colleagues,
We are reaching out through multiple channels to gather input from the
community of quantum educators! (So apologies if you receive this email more
than once.)
Back in 2005-2008, the PhET team developed a suite of PhET Quantum simulations
to address some core quantum concepts and phenomena. Since then, much has
changed, including advancements in simulation design, understanding of student
learning in quantum, and a growing industry of quantum technologies.
Educational technology has shifted from Java to HTML.
We are crafting a proposal to work with faculty to:
1) create a suite of next-generation PhET simulations covering quantum topics,
2) develop paired instructional activities (e.g. labs, tutorials, concept
questions, etc.), and
3) support faculty using these resources.
If you teach quantum at any level, we seek your input to shape PhET’s Quantum
efforts, and want to hear if you are interested in participating in any aspect
of this work.
Please complete this 5-minute survey:

and spread the word to your faculty colleagues who teach quantum at any level.
We would love their input too!
Thank you so much for your time!
