I have always been thinking of employing the use of IT in teaching. One of the ways (which must have been quite an old method now) is to use a database program to store questions, and even better, to retrieve questions with user entered criteria, for example, level of difficulty (as categorize by user), topic, type of questions (MCQ or structured). Or possibly to generate tests for some chosen topics.
Is such a program commercially available?
Or has someone been using a similar program already and care to share it with the rest of us?
