Two men who started up companies in 1946 died last week.
Akio Morita founded Tokyo Telecomms Engineering (later renamed Sony)
In 1966, Akio wrote a book called, "Never Mind School Records".
He held that school records are irrelevant to job performance
(a recent thread on this list, I recall...)
Joe Keithley started up the instrumentation company.
Keithley Instruments still keep up with a product type that Joe
pioneered for measuring low level current - a present product
offering of theirs is capable of registering 50 attoamps
about 60 electrons/second?
(You will recall that Albert Einstein too held a patent
for a milliameter.)
