Theology 101 (tongue in cheek and foot in mouth :)
God invented evolution out of a logical necessity:
A) If an all perfect god were to create, he could only create perfection.
B) He can therefore create only an all perfect god.
C) This (a created, all perfect god) is a contradiction!
D) The solution is the invention of time and a creation which is eternally
evolving toward perfection, and never getting there!
The good Christian should beware of mathematicians,
and all those who make empty prophecies. The danger
already exists that the mathematicians have made a
covenant with the devil to darken the spirit and to
confine man in the bonds of Hell.

astrologer]
