Re: lift

i encountered a similar problem with the web page:

http://www.aa.washington.edu/faculty/eberhardt/lift.html

Go up one directory:

http://www.aa.washington.edu/faculty/eberhardt/

then click on the lift.pdf file. this would however, require Adobe
Acrobat reader. apparently, there is some problem with the lift.html file.

The only 'problem' with the 'lift.html' file is that it's name is the
Gatesian variant 'lift.htm'. Some systems seem to still be limited to
three characters after the final dot.
