There's a conical pendulum problem I give my students to make them think.

Given a conical pendulum with a 1-m length, a 1-kg bob moving in a
horizontal circle at an angular velocity of 1 radian/s:

1. Calculate the tension in the string.

2. Calculate the angle between the vertical and the string.

3. Reset brain and GO TO 1.
