One politically acceptable way of showing off pictures on lists
is this way. It's from an old neighbor who lives down the road who sent
it to me recently:

It is NOT necessary to maintain a web presence - but simply to have
access to some net accessible storage often provided by the internet
service provider on application. One needs to be able to transfer a
graphic into that space - and lacking a dedicated application for the
 purpose, one uses a freeware 'ftp' utility, and points it at one's
 source directory, and the ISP's allocated personal space.
