As has been noted, the list is not quite dead. Initially this list was more
interested in pedagogy and was useful to both high-school and college
instructors. In recent years the topics and discussions have become more
esoteric and topic centered which I think drove most HS people away long
ago. The list is still useful for those esoteric discussions, but not a
whole lot else...IMO. Note: The Physhare list has also all but disappeared
and that really is a HS focused list.
