Re: longer "banana plugs"

We have these on some German equipment bought several years ago. The
Leybold catalog shows a multi-spring plug that looks like it would fit
the same female connector. You could inquire with their distributor,
Klinger Educational Products, 800-522-6252.

I have some equipment that was designed to use banana plug like
connectors, except these connectors are 2.2 cm long versus 1.4 cm
for real banana plugs. The connectors also have a single spring on
its side rather than the four springs that a banana plug has. The
1.4 cm plugs do not stay plugged into the the sockets on this
instrument. Does anyone know of a source for the longer plugs?
