I also like chalk. But I am using whiteboards differently. Students are
divided into groups of 4 and they use small whiteboards to prepare class
presentations. This has many advantages, ideally they talk physics among
themselves before presenting THEIR OWN creations. I do use the blackboard
while lecturing. Please share data on the danger of dry ink colorants.
