I am using jdk 1.1.6.

There is a problem with sliders. They work in Explorer. For some reason the
slider setting is maximum -1 in Netscape and the high disappears. I looked
up some usenet groups which report the same. They have suggested some ways
of correcting this problem but I am not too sure how that is implemented.
