How Airplanes Fly: A Physical Description of Lift
by D. Anderson, Fermilab, and S> Eberhardt, U. Wash Aero/Astro
http://www.aa.washington.edu/faculty/eberhardt/lift.htm
An illustrated preprint, to be published in Sport Aviation magazine's
February issue. It's a "conceptual physics" style of article. The authors
offer a Newtonian description of flight intended to replace the "popular"
explanation of lifting force based on wing shape.
