1) first reaction --> great, what a chance to see an applet in action.
2) second reaction --> fantastic, so many of them, all for physics!
3) selected one out of 30 to try (reflection and refraction).
4) first frustration --> the instruction is only for people who have a
mouse with left and right buttons. My mouse has only one. Try it.
5) second frustration --> The instruction sais" "click within the black
semi-circle near the top, then drag the mouse (Left-Right) to change
the angle of incidence. I see no black semicircle anywhere. There are
more instructions which I do not know how to implement.
6) giving up --> perhaps I should explore. But I have no time.
7) printing it --> what is printed is much less than what is on the screen.
Please let us know if you were sucessful in using THIS applet from a Mac,
or from a PC. After all it is my very first attempt to use this latest
technological invention. [A Java program residing on a distant server can
display its text and graphics output (including animations) on any computer
able to use Netscape or its equivalent.] Yes, I always blame myself first
when things are not working.
